Jessica Hyde, DO, JFCOG

Jessica Hyde, DO, is a board-eligible obstetrician and gynecologist at Midwest Center for Women’s HealthCare, seeing patients in Elgin and South Elgin beginning in fall 2026. Dr. Hyde provides full-spectrum obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal care and delivery, well-woman exams, contraception counseling, and gynecologic surgery. She delivers babies and performs surgery at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Dr. Hyde is accepting new patients. To schedule an appointment, please call 847-741-7990.
 
Dr. Hyde is trained to care for patients across a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, and she works to make each visit feel clear, comfortable, and unhurried.

Education and training

Dr. Hyde completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology through the Wichita Center for Graduate Medical Education in Wichita, Kansas, where she supervised junior residents in obstetric care and gynecologic surgery and taught third-year medical students. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and holds a Bachelor of Science in health science from Truman State University, with minors in biology and disability studies. Dr. Hyde is certified in Neonatal Resuscitation, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Basic Life Support.

Honors and memberships

Dr. Hyde was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society during medical school and graduated cum laude from Truman State University. She served as her residency program’s representative to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) District VII and was selected by the Kansas Section to attend the 2025 ACOG Congressional Leadership Conference. As a Missouri AHEC Scholar, she trained to care for rural and urban underserved communities. Dr. Hyde is a Junior Fellow of ACOG and a member of the American Medical Women’s Association and the American Medical Association.
