In the wake of the July 4th violence in our Highland Park community, our doctors and staff at Midwest Center for Women’s Healthcare would like to express our immense sadness and grief over the senseless act of violence during the parade. This tragedy will have an immense impact on many individuals and families in our practice and community. We would like all our patients to know that we are here to offer support in any way we can. We have close working relationships with many therapists in the area that can meet virtually or in person. We are happy to provide you with names and contact information and help coordinate your referral. Additionally, we have included some resources below that may be of help in talking with children about violence and tragedies.

MCWHC Doctors

Midwest Center for Women’s HealthCare (MCWHC) is the largest group of board-certified obstetrics and gynecology physicians in the state of Illinois. We are over 45+ doctors strong, with 14 offices located throughout Chicago’s North Shore and Northwest suburbs. Many of our doctors have treated several generations of women within the same family. Several of our physicians also hold residency teaching and leadership positions at local medical universities and hospitals, and have cared for our patients, delivered beautiful babies, and performed surgery on average for more than fifteen years. We see patients in Algonquin, Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Des Plaines, Elgin, Evanston, Glenview, Hoffman Estates, Park Ridge, Skokie, South Elgin, and Vernon Hills. While we’re large enough to offer you the most advanced level of care, we’re small enough to know your name and welcome you like family.
