Your health and the health of all Midwest Center for Women’s HealthCare patients and staff is of utmost importance to us. Our physicians continue to closely monitor clinical recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG).

Mask Policy:

  • Masks are optional in our offices.

  • Pre-register for your appointment by completing paperwork online a few days before your appointment. An email will be sent to you 3 days prior to your appointment with a link to input or update your demographics and health information.

  • On the day of appointment, check-in online to minimize your time in our waiting rooms. You should receive a link via email and/or text to check-in.

  • To reschedule, you may use our Patient Portal or call our offices to speak with a nurse.

Should Women Who Are Pregnant or Breastfeeding Get the Covid-19 Vaccine?

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine all recommend that pregnant and lactating women be vaccinated for COVID-19 given new evidence of vaccine safety. The rise of the Delta variant across the United States, and the increased risk of severe illness for pregnant individuals make vaccination for this population more urgent than ever. Midwest Center for Women’s HealthCare follows the recommendations of ACOG as our standard of care. Please note at this time, we are unable to grant medical exemptions to vaccine mandates to OB patients unless there is a medically indicated reason.
