Carol Ellman, MD, FACOG

Carol Ellman, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. has been a Board-Certified OB-GYN since 1995 and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Ellman currently sees patients in our Evanston and Glenview offices and is affiliated with the hospitals of NorthShore University HealthSystem (Evanston, Skokie and Glenbrook Hospitals).

She earned her medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis and completed her residency at the University of Chicago in 1999, where she was Chief Resident. She has been honored with multiple teaching awards from both residents and medical students. She is also frequently sought after for her expert opinion by reporters including in the Women’s Health Magazine article, “I Had My Ovaries And Uterus Removed 6 Months After Giving Birth.” She also frequently lectures in our community including her recent webinar on Breast Screening: What you Need to Know During Pregnancy & Beyond.

Dr. Ellman ran in the 2021 Bank of America Chicago Marathon to raise funds in support of breast cancer and ovarian cancer programs and services offered by Sharsheret.  Learn more and donate here.
