Carol Korzen, MD, FACOG
Dr. Carol Korzen, M.D., M.S.C.P., F.A.C.O.G., is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, dedicated to helping women navigate every stage of life with confidence and care. She provides comprehensive women’s health services at the Midwest Center for Women’s Healthcare in Elgin and South Elgin, IL, offering personalized, evidence-based care for women from adolescence through menopause and beyond.
A graduate of Rush Medical College in Chicago, Dr. Korzen earned her medical degree in 2000 and went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Indiana University. As a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (F.A.C.O.G.), she combines advanced clinical training with a compassionate approach that prioritizes patient education and shared decision-making.
Dr. Korzen has a special interest in menopause management, hormone therapy, preventive women’s health, and routine gynecologic care. She also provides comprehensive pregnancy and prenatal care, contraceptive counseling, and treatment for menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain, and other women’s health concerns.
Known for her warmth and approachable style, Dr. Korzen is passionate about empowering women to take charge of their health through every stage of life — from their first gynecologic visit to the transition through menopause.
