Erin Reed, MD, PhD, FACOG

Erin Reed, MD, PhD, FACOG is a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist and surgeon who graduated from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. During her residency, Dr. Reed was selected to serve as the Administrative Chief Resident in OB/GYN. She also served as the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Program Representative for Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.

In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Reed has earned a PhD in Neurobiology from The University of Chicago after completing a dual degree in Honors Biology and Chemistry cum laude from the University of Illinois as part of the James Scholar Honors Program.

Dr. Reed excels both in the hospital and in the classroom, where she has an extensive background in teaching and research. She has numerous publications and has served as a teaching assistant at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine for 10 years.

Her dedication to leadership and service is demonstrated by her commitment to serving on student council throughout her MD and PhD programs. Dr. Reed is currently accepting new patients.
