Jessica Dumitriu, DNP, WHNP
Jessica Dumitriu, DNP, WHNP, is a dedicated Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner providing comprehensive gynecology and women’s health care with a patient-centered approach. A member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, Jessica focuses on education, comfort, and individualized treatment plans to help women achieve optimal health and wellness at every stage of life.
She offers a full range of women’s health services, including well-woman exams, routine gynecologic care, contraceptive counseling, menstrual and menopause management, prenatal care support, postpartum care, and treatment of common gynecologic conditions. Jessica also provides lactation education and breastfeeding support, including a 1-hour “Breastfeeding Basics” class for expectant mothers and postpartum follow-up visits via telehealth or in-person to address any questions or concerns.
Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Illinois Chicago. Her doctoral research focused on improving post-surgical gynecology pain management, resulting in lower opioid use and the increased adoption of safe, effective alternative pain relief methods.
