Kathryn O'Malley, DO, JFACOG
Dr. Kathryn O’Malley, DO, JFACOG, a skilled and experienced Obstetrician-Gynecologist and surgeon, is passionate about empowering her patients to understand their health and to achieve their wellness goals. She is dedicated to being a trusted resource for women at all stages of life, creating a safe environment for her patients, and delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. She has a special interest in pelvic floor surgery, menopausal care, and providing osteopathic manipulative treatment.
After graduating with a dual degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of Kentucky, Dr. O’Malley earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. She conducted her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency with Central Michigan University College of Medicine at Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw, MI. She is also a certified da Vinci Robotic Surgeon.
Throughout her medical career, Dr. O’Malley has been active in teaching and research and served as a teaching fellow at Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is also a proud member of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (ACOG), American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG), American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA), American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), and the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO).
Dr. O’Malley sees patients in our Elgin and two South Elgin care centers. She delivers babies and performs surgery at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Dr. O’Malley is accepting new patients. To schedule an appointment, please call 847-741-7990 or request an appointment here.

She loves spending with her niece and family, enjoying time outdoors, supporting local businesses, and has a personal goal of visiting every national park.
